Cozy, Zin-ful Celebration at Sextant Winery
May 29, 2019Each year, wine lovers alike come in droves to the Paso Robles wine country to indulge in the award-winning, heritage Zinfandel grape. While wine aficionados come to experience this heritage grape in its many forms, our friends at Sextant Winery wanted to ensure their guests were welcomed with a cozy atmosphere for the weekend’s kick-off party, which is precisely where the Flourishing Art team came in to help!
Drawing inspiration from the modern fireplace located in Sextant Winery’s tasting room, we filled the space with candles contained in mercy glass vessels. We wanted event attendees to feel as if they were in the vineyard while sipping some lovely zin variations, which is why we utilized earthy plants and blooms in the form of succulents, weeping string-of-beads vine, Kermit green button pom, and more. Finding ourselves so smitten with the marriage of this design, we placed the arrangements on bars, coffee tables, near the beloved fireplace and even in terrariums hanging on aged grape vines. Did we mention our infatuation with play-on a photo booth? Using floating bronze frames and books suspended from the ceiling, winery visitors could get their photographs taken using a variety of props!
A big thanks to Sextant Winery for trusting Flourishing Art to help elevate your venue, and to Mike Larson Photography for providing these images.
